Charles, who teaches television production at the Senior Citizens Activities Network (SCAN) at the Monmouth Mall, has been a major behind-the-scenes force in the creation of a host of positive social changes through the empowerment of community and the arts with his ability to convey his wealth of proven knowledge. He has sparked great breakthroughs for businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
In his 60-minute presentation, including overhead slides and handouts, Charles will cover:
· What exactly IS cable access TV?
How cable access can increase grants and general funding
Creating access programming
Some of the limitations of cable access
How to create a cable access distribution network
Why cable access should become a major communications tool for ArtsCAP and it's members!
This valuable seminar, presented as part of ArtsCAP's Artist Seminar Series which has included seminars on new media like FaceBook, Twitter, Google and Yahoo and copyright law, is open to ALL organizations, their members, volunteers and supporters, and anyone interested in generating a method for utilizing the potentials of this powerful communications system.
