About Me
- Art Starved
- began her career as a full time glass artist in 2006. Yvonne creates glass jewelry, wall art and indoor/outdoor sculpture. Each work is made in front of a torch, with a kiln, or with various tools used to manipulate molten glass. Yvonne exhibits and sells her art in multiple locations in the Tri State area [NJ, NY & PA] and frequently teaches at the LBI Foundation of the Arts & Sciences. She recently received a large commission for a hospital first floor lobby close to Atlantic City. Every year The Monmouth Museum [one of New Jersey’s top museums], chooses six artists for whom they feel represent the up and coming artists in their state. In 2009 Yvonne Yaar was honored as one of their “NJ Emerging Artists”.
