The ArtsCAP Artist Business Series
Presents
Electronic Media Bootcamp
The Hotel Tides, 408 Seventh Avenue, Asbury Park
Tuesday January 26, 2010
"This seminar is for any individual or organization that currently uses, or wants to learn about using, internet portals and social media web sites," according to John Kaplow, president of NJ MediaWorks of Allenhurst, and the event producer. "The seminar is open to all business entities and is for beginners to lightly experienced users, or for those that want to make sure they haven’t missed any features of these sites."
For example, did you know that Yahoo and Google, while being best known as search engine websites, also offer free, useful tools for communicating with potential customers? The seminar will familiarize attendees with the names and uses of these websites, help them understand the differences and purposes behind them, help them pick which sites to use, and to take the initial steps to find, register and start to use these sites.
The Presenters are…
Erica Friedman - Yurikon LLC
Joanna Carides - Brand New Day Media LLC
Tim McGuire - Computer Doctors
Vaughn Mudrick - Beach Geeks
Cortland Coleman - Coleman Communications
Topics covered will include:
Google, Facebook, MySpace and Yahoo and will familiarize attendees with the names and uses of these websites, help to understand the differences and purposes behind them, pick which sites to use and how to register and start.
Registration begins at 6:00 pm and the seminar will begin at 6:45 sharp.
Admission is complimentary for ArtsCAP members and $10 for non-members. Refreshments will be served.
